AK Songstress
CEO of Paradise Entertainment Duke Banson in a latest interview has revealed that one of Ghana's female artistes turned down a marriage proposal earlier this year.
Duke known for managing acts including VIP, 4x4 and more talking about AK Songstress told Pluzz FM;
“I was part of a show and I was judging and this girl comes and was amazing. And there were these people who didn’t know their left from the right as judges. I saw it and I picked her. I was there at the right time for AK. Since that time, we have been family. Her dad is my best friend, her mom is my sweet heart, my kids spend time with her and she sometimes picks them up from school.”
Talking about the challenges involved in managing female artists, Duke revealed;
“The obvious challenge is when she falls in love with a ragamuffyan. But Mr. Logic is a professional. He is a bad boy and he can tell and advice AK on how to handle bad boys. So there is nothing about men AK doesn’t know.”
He continued;
“AK was supposed to have gotten married this year but the guy couldn’t meet her terms because to her, the music career comes first. A very rich guy it was but she turned him down. This is a committed person, she knows where she is going, and she loves her career and she is a free spirited person. And it was never my plan that she shouldn’t marry at this point of her career. Because if a woman is in love there is nothing you can do about that.
“I’m not saying falling in love is bad for female artists but if the artists falls for a bad person then things become challenging.”
