  It sounds to me like Duke Banson himself is a "toto police" and either has secret feelings for her or is acting to secure his own selfish needs of controling AK's life. He reports with pride how the marriage proposal was turned down because the proposer is a 'bad boy'even though he is very rich. What is his definition for a bad boy? What has wealth got to do with a genuine marriage? Wise up Duke!
