‘Sharp tongue’ radio presenter, Afia Schwarzenegger has in a subtle way debunked rumours going viral that Mr Ibrahim Mahama is the person who bought the new 2016 Mercedes-Benz C-Class for her, estimated to cost over $38,000.
There has been rumours and publication on some media platforms that the controversial presenter has received a vehicle from the CEO of Engineers and Planners (E&P) as a ‘thank you’ gift for defending the Mahama family during her feud with Honourable Kennedy Agyapong.
Putting the case to rest on her social media page, the ‘Ye Wo Krom’ radio show host, showed off her new car and pleaded Mr Ibrahim Mahama to make the rumour mongers wish to come to pass.
“So I was told Mr Ibrahim Mahama bought me this car as a birthday gift. For once I beg you Mr Ibrahim Mahama kindly make this rumour true in Jesus name!!!! And please sir, don't keep me waiting”, she wrote.
She has customized the number plate with her show name ‘Ye Wo Krom 2016.'
Some few weeks ago, Afia Schwarzenegger and the MP for Assin Central were involved in a vocal tussle where both rained insults at each other.
It took the intervention of the employer of Schwarzenegger to calm nerves as apologies were sent to the Member of Parliament on behalf of the company.
