In a her bid to wage a “holy war” against fake pastors in Ghana, TV and Radio diva, Afia Schwarzenegger has taken a swipe at the National Media Commission saying the national media regulator is not doing enough to check what viewers are served with on our television channels.
Afia Schwarzenegger believes the constitutionally mandated media regulator is failing in its responsibility to sanitize the television airwaves.
“National Media Commission, as you can see they are not doing anything, so any Tom, Dick and Harry can put anything on T.V and call it preaching," Afia told Joy News.
Following her recent clash with Bishop Daniel Obinim, the founder of the International God’s Way Church, Afia Schwarzenegger has launched a personal campaign against all pastors she believes are suspicious and dubious.
“We have started a campaign that says stand up for Jesus, say no to fake pastors, show them the red card…this campaign is an evangelism team," she said.
Her campaign will focus mainly on market women because she believes most of them do not know their rights as Christians, and it will mainly involve Christian youth.
Known in private life as Valentina Nana Agyeiwaa, Afia Swazzenenger is the host of the popular “Kokooko” programme on UTV that has recently generated a lot controversy after she featured some videos of Bishop Daniel Obinim prophesying in his church.
