African Global DJ awards nominees jam hits Accra on Friday

The Ghana Nominees party for the much anticipated, AFRICAN GLOBAL DJ AWARDS [ADGA] 2013 is set to take place this Friday, 26th April, 2013 at the plush Exel Nightclub.

Last weekend, the AGDA Nominees jams shutdown the nightlife scene in both Nairobi [Kenya] and Lagos [Nigeria] with glitzy and glamorous events in both cities. The Ghanaian edition will round up the nominees jams as organizers prep for the main event slated for next week in South Africa.

In what is expected to be a star studded night with the crème de la crème of the Ghanaian showbiz scene in attendance, the night will celebrate the Ghanaian DJs who have distinguished themselves and earned nominations in various categories of the prestigious continental awards.

As such, the event will see the nominees, which include, DJ Black, DJ Mensah, DJ Mic Smith, DJ Kess and DJ Killa Fingers hitting the wheels of steel to unleash their very best dance floor burning mixes that are sure to rock the crowd all night.

Also expected to rock the crowd on the night will be Nigeria’s most distinguished disc jockeys, DJ Humility and DJ Spinal who will serve as guest DJs.

The African Global DJ Awards “AGDA Awards” is the very first of its kind and is set up to celebrate the talent of the greatest DJ’s in Africa. The fundamental philosophy of the DJ Awards is not that of a competition, as it deals with an art form whose merits are purely subjective and therefore there is no best.

The DJ Awards focuses on the celebration of all genre of African music, and seeks to let the world know that the art of DJ’ing is a respected craft with world-wide impact.

This event will hold annually and is the first and only African DJ awards ceremony to be held in the continent and to be hosted in Johannesburg city, South Africa. It will also celebrate special people and institutions.

The Africa Global DJ Awards is powered by rLG, Mtech, and Empire Entertainment in conjunction with Stronghold Entertainment and Statemedia Production.
