Kumawood actor, Apostle John Prah, has shared his perspectives on the accident involving his colleague, Kwadwo Nkansah, famously known as LilWin, which resulted in the death of Tawiah Ampomah, a three-year-old boy.
He believes that LilWin should earnestly engage with the deceased boy's family and offer compensation to prevent exacerbating the situation, which is currently under investigation by the police.
The pastor also noted that there is no issue with LilWin attending his movie premiere if he has not fully recuperated from the injuries sustained in the accident, but only if he has been medically cleared to do so.
"If someone is ill but has a significant event, they can still participate depending on the doctor's advice. Afterward, proper treatment of the illness is essential. The way LilWin interacts with the family will influence whether this matter escalates.
"He did not intend to kill the boy; it was an accident, so I don't foresee this becoming a grave issue," he said in a video shared by Express GH TV on their YouTube channel.
Apostle Prah also cautioned against excessive speeding while driving, to avoid accidents that could lead to serious consequences.
"One thing I detest is speeding in a car. No matter how skilled you are at driving, caution is imperative because anything can happen at any moment," he added.
Meanwhile, LilWin's car accident occurred on May 25, 2024.
The collision occurred in front of Grace Baptist Church in Amakom, Kumasi, where LilWin's Benz and another vehicle crashed head-on, resulting in injuries to him and two others.
All injured parties, including LilWin, were taken to the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital's Accident and Emergency Unit.
Despite his injuries, LilWin attended the premiere of his new movie, "A Country Called Ghana," at the KNUST CCB Auditorium later that day.
Meanwhile, the police are investigating to ascertain the accident's causes and reach a resolution.
LilWin's management has pledged support to the bereaved family following the child's passing.
