Ashanti Regional Minister Fired?

According to the newspaper The Statesman, Ashanti Regional Minister, Sampson Kwaku Boafo, is set to vacate his post, to be replaced by Emmanuel Asamoah Owusu-Ansah, the deputy Attorney General and MP for Kwabre West.

  • Deputy Chief of Staff Oboshi Sai-Coffie, has been offered the position of Deputy Information Minister.

  • Kwame Osei-Prempeh, MP for Nsuta-Kwaman Beposo, has been penciled in as deputy Attoney General

  • Information reaching The Statesman indicates, however, that deputy Trade Minister Kofi Osei-Ameyaw is likely to be dropped from Government.

  • Senior Minister, J.H. Mensah has been relieved of his post.

  • Greater Accra regional minister, Sheik I. C. Quaye is on his way out

  • Minister of State for Tertiary Education, Elizabeth Ekua Ohene, is leaving the government
  • Several deputy ministers have ben asked to look for employment elsewhere
