Thu, 19 Aug 2004 Source: ghanamusic.com

Audrey Maison's CD Launch In all things we should give thanks to the almighty, like these great songs which go; ?Praise Him, Praise Him, Praise Him in the morning and Praise him in the evening ?..?. In a nutshell, we should praise him ?because he lives and I can face tomorrow?. The aforementioned songs are not on this great CD.

Audrey Mason is using her God given talent to Praise him. ?Praise Him? Gospel CD-Album was launched at the elegant Bethune Banquet Hall in East Orange, New Jersey on August 8th, 2004 with pomp and pageantry. The event was studded with various Gospel Artist and Angelic Church choirs such as The Bronx Young Adult Choir of Church of God of Prophecy in the Bronx, New York and Cornerstone Church choir of New Brunswick in New Jersey.

The event was backed by the Judgment Day Band led by Joe Mens and Felicity Amoah. Ghanaweb?s personality, Mr. Charles Nimmo N-Mensah aka Mr. CNN and Dr. Dan Adofo-Mensah, a renowned Dental Surgeon based in New Jersey came to support this great occasion.

This well produced gospel CD which is worth a spot in your CD library was the brain?child of Audrey Maison and her husband Stanford Maison. Both of them had started a Music Ministry earlier on with a church in the Newark area and continue to administer wherever they were invited to perform in both African and other African-American churches. The songs on the album were mostly composed by Stanford Maison and all the lyrics were written by Audrey Maison with the help of her daughter Janet on one of the songs (?My Jesus?).

Audrey Maison daughter of Mr. S.E. Amankwah (Timber Contractor) in Kumasi and Ms. Enerstina Ntansah (Nana Adwoa Serwa Ntiadu-Konkronhema of Mampong Ashanti) was formerly known as Audrey Amankwah. She is a well known socialite who is also a fashion designer, a Realtor and currently an ordained Pastor/ Prophetess.

Audrey is a highly spiritual woman of God and has this warmth of love towards her friends and a genuine affection towards giving to the poor and helping anyone she meets no matter who or what they are. Audrey Maison, mother of her own three children Briana, Marilyn and Stanford Jr. has also two step-children Janet and Hendrik Maison, and an adopted daughter Abigail Adu-Gyamfi.

Stanford Maison husband of Audrey was born to Mary Vroom and the Late J.S. Maison a renowned Music Professor of the Ghana Music Academy, University of Nigeria in Nsuka and University of Colorado at Boulder U.S.A. Even though Stanford is not a professional musician he had the latent talent of music composition in him.

Meeting Audrey in marriage the two never dreamt that their talents will be called to question. Audrey loved to sing around the house and Stan loved to make noise on the piano which he would call ?Rhythms? But God had an imminent design to put the two of them to use in spreading His word through music.

For example, ?Onyame Sunsum? was made when Audrey was passing from the kitchen through the living room to the Bedroom and Stan was making continuous ?noise? and humming to it. The words just came out from Audrey and the song was made. ?Praise Him? was made in a spell of a moment when Audrey and Stan were to give an introduction performance at their Church Choir Anniversary musical concert.

?My Jesus? was made when daughter Janet was on vacation from college and started to sing a tune along when Daddy was making his usual ?noise? on the piano. We could go on and on and on to explain how each song was made.

?Praise Him? is an assignment from God to spread His word in the simplest form of musical and lyrical communication for all to enjoy and understand. Furthermore, it is the vow of the couple to return fifty percent of the proceeds to help towards God?s work. It is must be made clear that everyone who participates in God?s work by purchasing a copy of this album is certainly sewing a seed in God?s Kingdom.

Audrey and Stan are the sole distributors and will welcome worldwide distributors to contact them at (732) 310-2399 in New Jersey, USA. PLEASE BUY ONLY THE ORIGINAL COPIES TO SUPPORT THE WORK OF GOD. THANK YOU.
