Lumba Meets IGP

Ace Highlife musician, Charles Kwadwo Fosu, aka Daddy Lumba, has commended the Inspector General of Police, Mr. Mohammed Ahmed Alhassan and the Police Administration for increased display of professionalism by the Police of late.

He particularly mentioned the increased presence of Police in our communities, business centres and highways, and said that the Ghanaian society is safer now than it was before.


Whilst encouraging the IGP to continue with the good works, Lumba assured him of his support, saying that, he was prepared to assist the Police in any way they deem fit.


On his part, Mr. Alhassan thanked the music icon for his visit and support, and praised him for his consistency at top flight music for such a long time without slumping.


The IGP said that such an achievement can only be attributed to dedication, professionalism and discipline.

He also openly declared he is a great fan of Lumba’s music, and urged him to mentor the young ones, so as to maintain the standard.


On a lighter note, the Director-General/Police Administration, COP/Mrs. Rose Bio Atinga proved her love for Lumba’s songs by playing one of his tracks on her phone to the surprise of the gathering.


Also present at the courtesy call made on the IGP at the Police Headquarters were the Director-General/Public Affairs Department, DCOP/Rev. David Nenyi Ampah- Bennin, the Director/Public Affairs, DSP. Cephas Arthur. Daddy Lumba was accompanied by Mr. Owusu Bempah.
