Dear GhanaWeb,
I am about to get married to the man of my dreams but there’s a hurdle I need to overcome or else, I won’t enjoy my marriage to its fullest.
The man happens to have a daughter from his previous marriage and this young girl hates me to the core.
She has never been nice to me since I was introduced to her as her father’s girlfriend. Her hatred for me became worse when my fiancé told her we would be getting married soon.
I have moved from my place of residence to my fiancé's place and I have never known peace. She’s cool with me when her dad is around but if my fiancé is absent, the disrespect just keeps flowing.
She talks to me like I’m her age mate and I can’t take it anymore.
I have apologized several times for no wrong done, and tried all ways to make her like me but none of my efforts have yielded results.
I do not want to report her to my husband-to-be because I think that will fuel more hate from her.
I am also tired of her rudeness but do not know what to do.
How do I go ahead with a marriage without the young lady’s blessings?
How do I make her love me?
