SP Kofi Sarpong has interrogated controversial Counsellor George Lutterodt for allegedly referring to he (SP Sarpong) and a number of gospel artistes as 'irrelevant' in the gospel music industry.
Counsellor Lutterodt, who was a guest on Behind the Fame on Joy FM with Lexis Bill reportedly mentioned Cwesi Oteng, Nicholas Omane Acheampong, and S.P Kofi Sarpong as irrelevant musicians who are just adding to the number of gospel musicians in the country.
Lutterodt however, denied the accusation and blamed the media for spreading wrong information. According to him, what he said on the show was that comparing highlife artiste Kwabena Kwabena to the aforementioned was "irrelevant".
This was after he revealed that Kwabena Kwabena’s ‘Bue Kwan’ song is one of the best gospel songs ever released in Ghana. He argued that the ‘Adult Music’ singer deserved to be awarded the Gospel Artiste of the Year in 2013.
"They are comparing you to Kwabena Kwabena and I say it is irrelevant. Go and take the tape and listen for yourself. Before you come against me listen to the audio. As for the writers, they write to make noise."
In an exclusive video received by sammykaymedia.com the vehement Counsellor could be heard in a conversational battle with gospel musician, S.P Kofi Sarpong and his Manager, Kwasi Ernest over his comment.
"But you said it...we heard you saying the man is irrelevant...that is why we are here...we are here to take you to the headquarters," Kwasi Ernest jokingly said.
