Another sad news struck the creative arts industry in Ghana this morning after the sad passing of dancehall diva, Ebony Reigns, as the veteran actor, Super OD was confirmed dead this morning.
The veteran actor and comedian’s son, Simon, confirmed the sad news this morning on Daybreak Hitz, on Hitz FM this morning after battling with sickness.
Many celebrities have been paying tributes to Super O.D whose real name is Asonaba Kwaku Darko after the news was confirmed.
One of such celebrities is amazing songstress and songwriter, Efya, who paid tribute to the veteran via her twitter account this morning.
In the course of her tribute, the ‘Best In Me’ hitmaker revealed her fears in the midst of deaths in the industry recently.
Pricilla Opoku Kwarteng known in showbiz as Ebony sadly passed away last Thursday in a fatal road accident on her way back from a family visit in Sunyani.
Efya in her tweet said she is shocked by all these deaths and cautioned her followers and colleagues to be safe. She further stated that she is in fear.
“All this death got me shook…Another fatal accident?! RIP Super OD…Let’s be safe guys. I must say I dey fear” she tweeted.
The late Ebony’s one-week celebration is set to be held on Sunday, February 18 while the funeral arrangements of the late Super OD is yet to be announced.
