‘Get the traffic lights working first!’ - Efia Odo questions TRAFFITECH-GH rollout

Ghanaian socialite Efia Odo has shared her views on the Ghana Police Service's TRAFFITECH-GH initiative, which is aimed at tackling indiscipline on the country's roads and improving compliance with road traffic laws and regulations.

In a post shared on X on September 30, 2026, Efia Odo argued that the government and relevant authorities should first address challenges relating to faulty traffic lights across the country.

She explained that although the TRAFFITECH-GH initiative is a great idea, more important issues should be prioritised first.

“Traffic lights don’t even work, but somehow y’all have a budget to install cameras? Great idea, but how ’bout we get the lights to work first!!” she said.
