'I am always in severe pain, I can't move' - Drogba of Yolo Fame reveals worsening health crises

Actor John Peasah, popularly known as 'Drogba,' has emphasised how his illness has worsened in recent times, causing him immense suffering. 

According to the Yolo star, he is now unable to perform basic tasks for himself, including bathing and other essential activities. 

In a phone-in interview with DJ Slim on Daybreak Hitz, he explained that the illness has severely affected his mobility, making it difficult for him to move properly. 

“The whole thing is, every day I’m in pain, I’m not mobile… I find it very difficult to bath, use the washroom, and that kind of thing,” he lamented. 

Sharing a vivid picture of his condition, Drogba said, “As I am talking to you right now, it wants to come but it is stopping… the syndrome affects your brain, and spinal cord, which radiates to your leg and affects your speech as well… and right now, it has affected everything.”  

Drogba’s struggles 

Recently, the actor disclosed that he is battling multiple conditions simultaneously, which has sparked public concern. 

The actor is currently battling sleep apnea syndrome, multiple debilitating disorders, and a Stiff Person Spectrum Disorder, a rare neurological condition that causes muscle stiffness and painful spasms. 

He is also battling with GAD Positive Cerebellar Ataxia, which affects his coordination and balance. 

Additionally, he experiences constant visual challenges, tremors, and dizziness. 

Gofundme appeal 

Recently, the actor launched a GoFundMe campaign to Raise $280,000 for medical care overseas.  

He mentioned that the high costs associated with his treatment have significantly drained his financial resources, prompting him to seek additional funding for his medical care outside the country.
