MOBO award-winning artiste, Samini has disclosed that he is that particular guy that loves to stay at the background.
According to him, he doesn’t love to brag, he just loves to stay put and enjoy life to the fullest.
Samini was on Hitz FM recounting how his journey through music has been like. After sharing his touching story, the host asked why then he doesn’t like to show off.
“Yes, I’m that guy who loves to stay at the background and enjoy life to the fullest. I happened to blow up very early. Even by age 22, I bought my first Camry but others got theirs recently, so with me, showing off is not my style”. Samini talking about why he likes to stay put and calm in life.
Samini also disclosed that he came into the industry through ‘beef’ so beefing is not anything new to him.
“Actually, I came into this industry through beef, I remember onetime Yogi was on Top FM running his mouth, I was in a taxi with Tony, so we asked the driver to take us to Top FM so I can give the guy some lil pressure, and Yogi was there in the studio and I just sat by him. They gave me the microphone and it was just something else”.
He continued, “In dancehall, you must be prepared to throw shots and also expects shots to be thrown back at all.”
Samini talking about beef right there. He is expected to hold his annual SaminiFest in December.
