Ghanaian Urban gospel musician, Cwesi Oteng has publicly endorsed and declared his support for presidential candidate for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.
This comes days after the musician in an interview lambasted and described critics of musicians who openly endorsed or composed campaign songs for political parties or individuals in Ghana as “coup makers”.
“Such people are oppressors. They are people who cannot accommodate divergent views and have the propensity to oust governments and also trigger civil wars at the slightest provocation” he noted.
The musician in a tweet stated; "
".I would like to show my support for @NAkufoAddo and to fully endorse him to be our next POGH.I believe Ghana needs a breath of fresh air.
