I don’t believe in Juju because it makes no one popular – Shatta Wale

Shatta Wale had long been rumoured to be resorting to what is popularly called juju or black magic for his career success.

Even when he had a scuffle with musician Yaa Pono, the musician claimed that Shatta Wale visited a fetish priest in Burkina Faso to be made famous.

Shatta Wale has admitted to having plenty experience with juju, however, they affected him negatively because they did not make him popular in any way.

In an interview with Joy FM on Friday, October 26, 2018, Shatta Wale revealed that juju can only cure malaria and hepatitis B, but does not have the capability of making people famous.

According to him, he relies solely on God for his success and life in general, adding that he doesn’t need to be in church to talk about God’s goodness to him.

“I don't believe in juju cus I've had plenty of experience with it. I have tired plenty juju. It can cure malaria and hepatitis, but it can't do anything to make anyone famous. God has brought a certain light into my life and I don't need to be in church to talk about his goodness. Everything I do is God. He allows us to make mistakes, but he will teach us through those mistakes,” Shatta Wale said.

Meanwhile, Shatta Wale, in his interview also said Ghanaian youths are disappointed in and angry with President Akufo-Addo and so they are not listening to him.

Shatta Wale’s words to President Akufo-Addo, come at when many Ghanaians are complaining of hardship and economic difficulty.

For instance, Many Ghanaians, especially business people, have decried the depreciation of the cedi against major foreign currencies, as lamented by Kennedy Agyapong and Abossey Okai traders.

Recently, fuel prices have gone up again, making it the second increment in just a month, leading to a public outcry on social media, as checks by YEN.com.gh reveal.

Shatta Wale also touched on his public proposal to his long-time girlfriend, Shatta Michy.

He has debunked rumours and reports that it was a fake act.

According to him, Michy didn’t even know about the proposal before the act was carried out, therefore, anyone saying it was a fake gesture is himself a fake person.

In a related development, Shatta Wale has also said he is getting married to Michy next year, and called on Ghanaians to be in expectation of their wedding.
