Kumawood star Tracey Boakye is asking all who are disappointed in her for comments she made prior to the 2016 general election to stop feeling angry or resentful towards her.

The movie producer who campaigned for the ruling NDC government and its flag bearer, John Dramani Mahama admitted that she slipped during the campaign period but quickly added that she is human so mistakes are bound to happen.

Tracey said sorry to all she has offended and asked for peace to prevail since Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo of the New Patriotic Party has been announced president-elect after this year’s polls.

“Good morning everyone, it’s a beautiful Sunday morning, this goes out to all my fans, friends, family and loved ones, especially those disappointed in me for some words they heard from me.

As human, we meant to make mistakes, I boldly want to say a big SORRY to you all and all I want to ask for is peace????, … Thank you all and I know with a kind heart from you guys, we all become one lovely family here again.. Love u guys ???????? God bless us all ????????????#peace”, she wrote on Instagram.

In a separate chat with Zionfelix.net Sunday morning, the boss of Shakira Movie Production disclosed that she has not regretted campaigning for president Mahama. Miss Boakye added that “although I’m apologizing for my comments during the campaign season which might have offended some people, I’m still with my daddy (Mahama)”.

Tracey Boakye publicly endorsed the candidature of president Mahama through a campaign video she released months to the 2016 general election.
