Ghanaian YouTuber Kwadwo Sheldon has disclosed that he has never mounted a camera to disrespect anyone but instead shares his thoughts on issues.
According to Sheldon, objectively voicing his thoughts on trending entertainment issues does not constitute disrespect.
He said on the Konnected Minds Podcast, where he discussed his early struggles in life and what spurred his rise on YouTube.
Having been raised by his grandmother, Kwadwo Sheldon said he came from nothing and had to hustle hard in his formative years.
"It was hard work from the beginning. If someone had told me I would become a thought leader in this country and visit the places I have, I would not have believed it," he said.
He also disclosed that his father died when he was four years old, and he lacked a father figure to look up to.
"I have seen hardship before and was afraid to fail. I had to sort out my future plans and next course of action."
Sheldon also discussed how he plans to survive outside the YouTube business, as the future of the platform could change at any time.
"I have never disrespected anyone. I have never mounted a camera to attack someone's character; I just share my opinions on issues."
According to Kwadwo Sheldon, he does not see himself as someone who kisses up to others, irrespective of who is under discussion.
"I'm not going to be an ass-kisser, and I detest it because we have built this brand over time. If your matter is on the table, we will talk about it," he added.
