Controversial Ghanaian entertainer, Akuapem Poloo, has revealed that she has never been made to provide sexual pleasure in exchange for a movie role.
Interviewed on Happy FM’s Ayekoo After-Drive show, she told host, DJ Advicer that most men are scared of her. According to her, men send her texts telling her they want her but are scared that she might expose them when things do not go well.
Poloo confirmed rumours that some actresses give themselves to producers for roles in movies but no one can boast that they have had their way with her in exchange for a role and this is a big strategy for her.
’Never in my life have I been used in exchange for a role. Even when I started working as a video vixen, I have been getting jobs through my friends. I have a friend who is a video vixen so when she gets job offers, she forwards some to me and when I am done, she pays me, not the artiste’’.
The actress added that aside working as a video vixen, actress and doing promotions on social media, she also makes a lot of money from her sale of honey and selling just one gallon of her natural honey can make her enough money to foot her utility bills hence she does not need to sleep around for movie roles.
