Okay, so indeed it is very true that not every ‘mad’ person is mad likewise a seeming fit and well-dressed individuals we meet and engage with is mentally sound. A very typical example is Guru.
Initially, the public was made to believe that Shatta Wale and his manager, Bull Dog were the only media fierce trouble makers with loose mouths in the showbiz industry but after reading an article headlined: Guru tells his detractors to get behind him.
Honestly, I really felt Shatta Wale and Bull Dog and Samini prior to his recent utterances and songs released in that article. My reason for my chosen headline is due to the similarities in his utterances in that article.
Just like Shatta Wale who always thinks a ‘ghost’ want to block his shine, Guru seems to think the same way. Also, it was for this same Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA) that chanced Ghanaians to really have a feel of Shatta Wale’s disappointment and fierce anger where he issued a dis petition to Charter House, organizers of VGMA stating that he needs no award from them.
Guru’s issue seem quite different as he feels Osagy want to use him to gain fame, forgetting how he ‘used’ Obrafour to attack Okyeame Kwame and Obour and left Richie Mensah out of the ‘Nkasiebo’ song that made him see the limelight.
Well, to me indirectly; Guru is acting like Shatta Wale who thinks somebody will do everything in his or her possible best to block his but as Bra Kelvin said in his three headed which most people seem to overlook the inspirational part in the song, I desire to encourage Guru not to fear his imaginary detractors with;
“…Mensuro those who want block my shine
Me paeye ne se mebe sen before my time
Na Satan de ohia abe kyekyire all mankid
Nanso Nyame nti megye 74x9
Wo calculate wia te3 Bob Marley…”
I agree, Boys Abr3 ampa but Guru relax and do away with the perception that some people which most definitely may include Shatta Wale otherwise a format to gain attention prior to the impending VGMA.
