“I know Nana Akufo-Addo; he is a very good man… He is very sincere man. He means what he said. The same with President Mahama. Nice man. Very sincere as well. He is one of those people who wouldn’t hide what he feels about your work. The few times I have met President Mahama, I see him as a very cool man, it’s the same with Nana Akufo-Addo.”

Former TV3 news anchor Nana Aba Anamoah has said “hell no” to the two dominant parties in Ghana.

Even though many have said that she has a mild spot for the ruling party, Nana Aba said “hell no” to both the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and the New Patriotic Party (NPP) when asked by Bola Ray on the Starr FM’s Starr Chat on Wednesday.

Speaking on the show, she denied having a political bias.

“I don’t support any political party,” continuing that, “I was having a conversation with a friend of mine the other day, asking will you vote for President Mahama or will you vote for Nana Addo. I said their manifestos are not even out. I have to read their manifestos to be convinced that Nana Akufo-Addo has what it takes to be president.”

“So when I hear people on radio for instance insulting Nana Akufo-Addo, calling him all sorts of names that Nana Akufo-Addo is an arrogant man or President Mahama is a corrupt man. I just say these are things that are being made up. You don’t know this people from Adam. You don’t know them. It breaks my heart. My heart bleeds when I hear people insulting some of our political leaders, especially Nana Akufo-Addo and President Mahama.”
