Popular award winning movie costumier Samira Yakubu got married over the weekend.
The new bride in town is the manager to popular Ghanaian International silver screen goddess Jackie Appiah.
According to Ghkwaku.com, the wedding Ceremony took place on Saturday, 10th October in Bolga, the hometown of the bride which saw family, friends and colleagues troop in to show their support at the occasion.
The day also saw actress Kalsume Sinare, Jackie Appiah and other dignitaries present.
Actress Jackie Appiah shared pictures from the ceremony on Instagram congratulating her longtime manager:
“Current situation, congratulations to our newly bride@samirayakubu Bride and my outfit by @rikaotobymeand @nancyblaq was on makeup”.
Samira Yakubu, is a popular name in the movie business and has played a key role in the success story of the amazing award-winning actress.
She has several recognition in terms of awards to her name, winning best costumier on several occasions at the Ghana Movie Awards, Best Costumier at the Zulu African Film Academy Awards (ZAFAA) 2011 held in the United Kingdom, she has also won Best Costumier at Africa Movie Academy Awards (AMMA) among others.
