Hiplife artiste, Okyeame Kwame has discredited assertions that the Asuoden track by K’si Boyz was released as a result of the tussle between Flowking Stone and producer of Tigo Music Unplugged show, George Quaye.

The Versatile rapper teamed up with Flowking Stone, Cabum and Strongman on a new single which the artistes demonstrated their rapping prowess to project Kumasi, where they are based.

With some people concluding that the song was recorded following a truncation of Flowking Stone’s performance at this year’s Tigo Music Unplugged held in Kumasi, Okyeame Kwame has said it was a mere coincidence. He stated on Pluzz FM’s AM Pluzz that the song was recorded six months ago and was scheduled to be released on December 3, 2015.

“We recorded it six months ago. We have been advertising to release it for the past two weeks asking people to guess which artistes are featured on the track. It is just a coincidence. We set out the release on Friday before last week’s misunderstanding happened. So people should not link it,” he clarified.

“However, if you listen to the song, you can see that the main aim is to ignite the Oseikrom spirit and that is the responsibility on my shoulder and I’m going to make sure that it happens,” Okyeame Kwame added.
