Media personality Merqury Quaye has criticised Kelvyn Boy for his recent comments regarding his efforts to reconcile with his former label boss and mentor, Stonebwoy.

According to him, the "Down Flat" hitmaker's tone and demeanour when asked about the reconciliation exuded disrespect.

"I don't know the full details of the issue between him and Stonebwoy, but listening to his tone, it’s clear there is disrespect," he stated on Hitz FM.

Merqury Quaye emphasised that Kelvyn Boy should have expressed gratitude to his former boss when asked about reconciliation efforts.

He warned that Kelvyn's attitude could jeopardize any chance Stonebwoy might have had for patching things up.

"A person who has held your hand and done great things for you deserves respect. His tone didn’t reflect someone trying to make peace; he didn’t sound remorseful," Merqury Quaye stated.

Background:

The two artistes collaborated on the song "Na You," released in 2018, which has garnered over 1.3 million views on YouTube.

In January 2019, Stonebwoy parted ways with Kelvyn Boy, who had been signed to Burniton Music Group.

Their split reportedly stemmed from misunderstandings that arose during their time together.

Although Stonebwoy had the option to renew the contract, Kelvyn Boy's behaviour, particularly the disrespect shown during his time with the BHIM Nation boss, led to the decision to end their relationship.
