Media personality Afia Pokua, also known as Vim Lady, is calling on all Ghanaians to come together and help save actor LilWin from the claws of the law.

In a video post on the social media platform Instagram, Vim Lady explained that LilWin is a national asset and has been instrumental in the revival of Ghana's movie industry.

She explained that the initial charges against the actor were serious, and if found guilty, he could face a jail sentence of 5 years.

Vim Lady believes that if LilWin is jailed, many people will lose their jobs.

"The charges against LilWin in court are very serious, and we need to come together to help him. He is a national asset who played a crucial role in reviving the movie industry when it collapsed. If we don't help him, he could be sentenced to 5 years in jail," Vim Lady said in the Instagram video.

She also advised LilWin to be cautious and mindful of his actions, especially now that he has a pending case in court.

"LilWin needs to be very careful about what he says and does now. He should make his lawyer his friend so that he doesn't incriminate himself beyond rescue," she explained.

Regarding his prosecution, LilWin was granted GH¢50,000 bail with two sureties by the court after he was arrested by police on Monday, June 3, 2024.

His arrest was related to an accident involving a vehicle driven by the actor, which resulted in the death of a three-year-old boy.
