M.anifest completes work on 'Nowhere Cool' album

Rapper M.anifest has, in the past few months, been finishing up his forthcoming Nowhere Cool.

Via micro-blogging site Twitter today, he has announced that he’s finished up the project.

He’s also unveiled a tracklist of sorts, though most of the songs have been blurred out from the photo he tweeted.

The album looks o contain 14 songs, and will be his most popular album, especially for releasing the controversial “God MC” single back in June.

Nowhere cool will be the rapper’s fifth solo project following Apae: the price of free EP (2013), Immigrant Chronicles: Coming to America (2011), The Birds and the Beats (Free Mixtape, 2009), and Manifestations (2007). In a remarkable career, he has won Best Rapper of the year (2013) – Ghana Music Award, Hip-Hop Song of the Year (2013) – Ghana Music Awards, Best Hip-Hop Video – 4syte Music Video Awards, Minnesota Emerging Composer Award (MECA) (2010) – American Composers Forum, Songwriter of the Year (2008) – City Pages, among others.

He was recently announced as music director for a film adaptation of international Nigerian writer Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie’s “On Monday of Last Week.”

He’s also scheduled to attend he international literary festival Storymoja 2016 at the W.E.B Dubois Centre in Accra.

His latest singles 100 Percent ft. Worlasi, and Sugar ft. Brymo, are out now.
