Mayor Says Good-Bye

The Marverick Ghanaian-born International Politician who recently vowed to pardon President John Agyekum Kufuor and former President Jerry John Rawlings in order to move the Country ahead - (if he ever becomes President of Ghana someday), has made startling revealations as he bids farewell to his intellectually - laden stories which tantalized the World Community, such as his call for the emergence of an African Super Power !!!.

"Osagyefo" Kwame Appiah Boateng, popularly known by Ghanaians around the World as (Kwame Mayor), whose series of intellectual provoking stories to Ghana's News Media, especially Ghanaweb.Com were widely read by spell bound Ghanaians around the World and the International Community, says if Ghanaians could put thier emotions and politics aside, they would agree that President Kufuor has made contributions to Ghana's democracy except that the President fails to respect the tenets of Liberty and Freedom especially when one is fiercely independent minded like him and Hon. Dan Botwe whom he has relieved from his administration and moreover, except when somebody like him with immense political talents has a Democratic Right and ambition to aspire to become President of Ghana.

He said the President's main fault is treating Political opponents who have democratic ambitions to become President as if they are his "enemies".

Turning to former President Jerry John Rawlings, "Osagyefo" Kwame Mayor says if Ghanaians could also put their emotions and politics aside, they would agree that the former President is a fair-minded man who has a passion for Justice except that he does not care about Justice for his victims.

"Osagyefo" said the former President could have enjoyed left a legacy of positive history and genuine support across political boundaries if he and his fellow AFRC / PNDC members had avoided bloodshed.

He said the former President should forever curse his blood thirsty advisors who may have influenced him to spill blood since as a Catholic, Rawlings may not have personally wanted bloodshed.

"Osagyefo" kwame Boateng ( Kwame Mayor ), a Catholic who has strong respect for the Sanctity of Life, praised Professor Atta Mills for not accepting a position during the PNDC time and reminded Ghanaians that President Kufuor accepted a position after blood had been spilled in Ghana and when innocent Gas, innocent Ewes, innocent, Asantes, innocent Dagombas, innocent Fantes, etc --- [all] Ghanaians became victims of excessive brutal force.

"Osagyefo" Kwame Boateng, said despite what happened during the AFRC and PNDC days, Ghanaians could give the former President his due as a fair-minded Person, with a passion for selective Justice who once worked amicably with President John Agyekum Kufuor and that it is not surprising that both employ the philosophy of Machiavelli in treating their imaginary political opponents.

"It is hypocritical on the part of others who fail to mention that President Kufuor was "Guilty by Association" with the PNDC.

"Osagyefo" Kwame Boateng noted that despite the short-comings of the former President, he Rawlings would have allowed him to play significant role in his government if he (the former president) were to be the one who had consistently utilized his ideas as President John Agyekum Kufuor has done - without even giving him credit.

"Osagyefo" Kwame Boateng (Kwame Mayor) revealed for the first time that even though he (never) supported the AFRC and the PNDC, he got an invitation to be interviewed at Ghana's Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 1989 - years after Ghanaian Newspapers had republished a 1984 Sacramento Union's Newspaper Story about him entitled "first Foreign Intern at City Hall. Ghanaian Inquisitive about Government..." .

" I had wanted to serve Mother Ghana but because of Military brutalities at that time, I changed my mind".

"Osagyefo" Kwame Boateng (Kwame Mayor) said although, Dr. Obed Asamoah may not recall, he, as the Foreign Minister of Ghana, gave him the opportunity and he still has the letter from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

" I respect Dr. Obed Asamoah for appreciating the essence of Brain Power in National Development".

" I pray that he (Dr. Obed Asamoah) and his DFP would meet with the CPP for a gigantic CPP - led "Opposition Alliance" that would include Pro-Nkrumaists within the CPP, PNC, DFP, NDC, GCCP, Eagle, NPP, etc.

Recounting the abortive 1989 interview, "Osagyefo" Kwame Boateng said :

" I turned down the interview because my Conscience was strong and yet, President Kufuor accepted a Post - after blood had been shed in Ghana.

"Osagyefo" Kwame Boateng (Kwame Mayor) also revealed how a former Military Attache at Ghana's Embassy in Washington, D.C. called him and at one time, left a message on his answering machine, and eventually informed him via telephone that Mr. Spio Gabrah, the former Ghana's Ambassador during NDC time, was about to be recalled to Ghana and informed him that he wanted to recommend him (Boateng) to become Ghana's Ambassador to America - in view of his potentialities to make significant contributions in that position.

" All that I needed was to sign up and join the NDC", but I did not due to my Independent Thinking and Conscience", said the Politician.

"Mr. Kobi Koomson later got the position I did not apply or lobby for".

" I was young and fresh from University and yet I had strong Conscience (not) to be opportunistic", said "Osagyefo" Kwame Mayor.

" It should be noted that President John Agyekum Kufuor's government (never) gave me an opportunity and yet without shame, has [consistently] stolen my ideas some of which have become Monumental in Ghana.

" To what extent can one Human Being be brutally Callous to his fellow Human Being - especially, when the victim (Kwame Mayor) has been unfairly exploited, said the Politician who says the NPP is [innocent] of his genuine Complaint, but the ruling government has acted unlawfully, immorally and un-ethically, especially when some of his ideas publicly warned against copying or immitation without permission !!!.

"President John Agyekum Kufuor accepted a position with the PNDC after blood had been shed in Ghana", the CPP activist reminded Ghanaians, saying that both President Kufuor and former President Rawlings are "Disciples of Machiavelli".

"Osagyefo" Kwame Boateng (Kwame Mayor) says nevertheless, we should forgive both President Kufuor and former President Rawlings !!!.

" I am ready to smoke Peace Pipe with them if they are ready for the Peace Pipe", said the self proclaimed Muhammad Ali of Politics and "the Greatest Politician of all Times".

The self Proclaimed Real Intellectual Reincarnation of Ghana's first President, Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah explained that his intellectually - laden stories were meant to target scholars since the hateful and jealous ones could not dissect what he meant by his call for Ghana and Mother Africa to emerge a Super Power in order to live in Peace with "our white brothers and sisters".

The Politician who has not hidden his democratic ambition to become President of Ghana someday through the civilized democratic process - the Ballot Box, says without courageous Radio presenters at Fox FM, Kessben FM, Hello FM, and without the extraordinary courage of Mr. Francis Akoto of Ghanaweb.Com, his political detractors, consumed with hate and possessed with jealousy, would never have allowed him to be heard in the News as they continue to put obstacles in his way.

I am not naive to the fact that "Enemies of Democracy" and their Spies are capable and may have put undue pressure to ensure that "Kwame Mayor" is gagged !!!.

" Shamefully, those who have exploited my strategic ideas and treated me with callousness have the audacity to talk about Brain Drain !!!", said "Osagyefo" Kwame Boateng.

" Moreover, many people believe that I am being persecuted for being an Asante who joined a Nationally oriented Political Party, instead of (any) of the Geographically based or Ethnically based leading Political Parties.

"The same ruling government which has systematically utilized my ideas without giving me any credit is the same government which has [never] given me equal opportunity to develop my potentials -- ( as it snatches every important idea of mine published in the News Media or Recommendations made through letters to the government)".

"The ruling government of President John Agyekum Kufuor has exploited my strategic ideas and while his government enjoys the credit, the man whose ideas have tantalized the Nation has been denied basic equal opportunities", lamented Kwame Mayor

" The ruling government of Ghana is riding high on my [direct recommendations] to the office of the President and published ideas in the News Media --- ( My recommendations were made for the sake of the Nation's best interest !!!)

"Some of my ideas warned against copying or immitation without my permission", said the man who says he has proven to the whole World that he has the brain power and leadership qualities to lead Ghana and Africa in general and that, he is many years ahead of his time.

"My letters addressed to the attention of President John Agyekum Kufuor, via the Protocol office with copies to the Office of the President and Parliament -- ( the Office of the former Speaker of Parliament, Hon. Peter Ala Adjetey) --- dated December 21, 2003 and January 19, 2004 respectively, logically and rationally prompted Hon. Peter Ala Adjetey's call in 2004 for Ghanaians living abroad to be allowed to vote which sparked controversy at that time and the controversy later translated into the Representation of the People's Amendment Bill (ROPAB'S) --- which [still] rages on !!!, said "Osagyefo" Kwame Appiah Boateng (Kwame Mayor), who says he has 100% evidence to back his statement and that he is making this statement under Oath !!! -- ( under Penalty of Perjury under the Laws of Ghana and also, under International Laws and he is publicly challenging the President's men to [also] swear Oath ---under Penalty of Perjury under the Laws of Ghana and under International Laws] --- if what he ("Osagyefo" Kwame Appiah Boateng, [Kwame Mayor]) is saying is not true.

" In 1999, I personally gave a Political Literature I had developed in 1996/1997 of which I sent copies to Ghana's Embassy in Washington, D.C. --- to His Excellency President John Agyekum Kufuor, when he and Hon. Kwadwo Mpiani visited Los Angeles, USA . ( Mr. Kufuor was then a Presidential Candidate). .....

" In the Political Literature, I called for the "importation" of South Africa's model of Truth and Reconciliation to Ghana --- ). It is therefore, rational and logical to conclude that my ideas influenced the President to establish the National Reconciliation Commission (NRC) which he cast me aside and did not allow me to play any role and the same President, Kufuor has continued to cast me aside for Political reasons !!! --- in an unprecedented callousness and ingratitude which no God fearing Human Being could inflict upon his fellow Human Being, said the "Made In America" Politician known for his honest opinions and Moral Courage and like the Biblical David --- always defeats Goliaths in the end !!! .

" Almighty God, through Divine Intervention will grant me Justice and victory someday -- over those who have treated me as a "Political Enemy", vowed the CPP activist who has publicly and privately appealed to the CPP hierarchy to condem the President's action of engaging in "State - Sponsored Injustice" and systematically utilizing his ideas without giving him any credit and treating him (Kwame Mayor) unfairly.

"The President's actions are killing Patriotism softly, lamented the CPP activist, who insists that although the New Patriotic Party (NPP) --- as a Political establishment has (not) done him wrong, the President and a [few] of his henchmen --- acting as "Political Mafias", have committed the highest stage of Injustice against him and seek another National Reconciliation II - in order to forgive them because "Father, they don't know what they have done !!!", said "Osagyefo" Kwame Mayor.

"Osagyefo" Kwame Appiah Boateng has been consistently discriminated against - for his Political affiliation and has also been discriminated for being an Asante who dared to join a National Political Party - CPP, instead of [any] of the two leading Ethnic-based political parties, said the first Ghanaian born to run for Mayor of Los Angeles, who recently called for Inter-Ethnic Marriages among all Ethnic Groups in Ghana, especially, Inter-Ethnic Marriages between Ashantis and Ewes in order to unite the Nation. "There is evidence to prove to the whole World that "Osagyefo" Kwame Appiah Boateng, ("Kwame Mayor"), the 2004 CPP Parliamentary Candidate for Nhyiaeso Constituency, was the [first] to call for "Renaming the Castle the "Black House" --- in order to attract tourism (like the White House) ---and my call to develop the Castle into a Tourist attraction - like the White House, was (immediately) followed by a request to build a "State of the Art" Presidential Palace", "Osagyefo" Kwame Appiah Boateng recently wrote.

" ( It should be noted that about two days after I sent a Press Release/(News) calling for a seat of government that would attract tourism - similar to the White House, controversy erupted in Ghana's Parliament over the demand by the Majority side for $30 Million to develop the Flag Staff House --- followed by a statement by a Government Deputy Minister to develop the Castle as a Historical Site ) -- ( * Evidence : Read Sequence of events on Ghana's News Media, example : Ghanaweb.com News - entitled : Rename Castle the Black House" ...) ".

" On December 21, 2003 and January 19, 2004, "Kwame Mayor" wrote to the Protocol office with copies to the office of the President and Parliament (Office of the Honorary Speaker Peter Ala Adjetey)" .... " In the letters, "Kwame Appiah Boateng ("Kwame Mayor" requested a meeting with the President for his support for extending Voting Rights to Ghanaians living abroad. Although neither the office of the Protocol; the office of the former Speaker or the office of the President responded to Kwame Mayor, soon after - in 2003, the former Speaker, Hon. Peter Ala Adjetey called for the extension of Voting Rights for Ghanaians living abroad. ---

If a bill, known as "ROPAB Bill" was introduced (on behalf of the President) - to allow Ghanaians living abroad to vote, then the CPP Man, "Osagyefo" Kwame Appiah Boateng, ("Kwame Mayor"), whose letters to the President --logically and rationally, prompted the 2004 call by the former Speaker of Parliament, Hon. Peter Ala Adjetey, for Ghanaians living abroad to vote, --- ( The debate over the Voting Rights of Ghanaians living abroad still continues - in 2006), then, he "Osagyefo" Kwame Appiah Boateng, "Kwame Mayor" has (not) been given any credit - for his 2003 and 2004 letters to t! he Protocol Office - (attention): President John Agyekum Kufuor; Office of the President, C/O: Hon. Kwadwo Mpiani, etc, that sought a meeting to discuss Voting Rights for Ghanaians living abroad". !!!

" As the interim President of Ghanaians Abroad Coalition, "Kwame Mayor" diplomatically [contributed] in appealing to the President for the [speedy] implementation of the Dual Citizenship Act, via Press Releases to the News Media and an electronic email to the Castle's Email address. " Furthermore, "Kwame Mayor" claims possessing evidence to prove that he [first] called for erection of statutes in honor of the Martyred Judges; [first] called for the importation of South Africa's model of Truth and Reconciliation to Ghana - via his 1996/1997 Platform - a copy was given to His Excellency, President John Agyekum Kufuor in 1999 in Los Angeles --- before Mr. Kufuor became President, (in the company of Hon. Kwadwo Mpiani, current Minister of Presidential Affairs; "Kwame Mayor's 19996/1997 Platform or Political Literature also called for extending Voting Rights to Ghanaians living abroad of which copies were sent to Ghana Embassy in Washington, D.C., Mr. Spio Gabral could have been the Ghana's Ambassador at the time Kwame Mayor mailed his documents to the Embassy and Nana Effa Appenteng, Ghana's current Ambassador to the United Nations wrote to Kwame Mayor later on. The fact that Kwame Mayor mailed copies of his Political Literature to Ghana's Embassy where Mr. Spio Gabral was the Ambassador, provides a clue why former President Jerry John Rawlings mentioned extending Voting Rights to Ghanaians Living Abroad in 1996 !!! - ( Perhaps, as a Political Rhetoric). ---( The same 1996/ 1997 Platform called for "Setting up Truth and Reconciliation in Ghana)".*

" Kwame Mayor's abortive Yaa Asantewaa demonstration's objectives - (copies were given to the former Deputy Police Commander in Ashanti Region, Mr. Opare Addo and the Records office of the Ashanti Regional Pol! ice - ( in which "Kwame Mayor" clearly stated that some of the objectives of the "Yaa Asantewaa Demonstration" were to focus attention on the Neo-Colonialist and Imperialist State of Ghana; a demand for Economic Dialogue with the World's Powerful Economic Inst! itutions to soften thier harsh impositions; a call for a SYMBOLIC GOVERNMENT for a future Continental African Union Government and a call for "Yaa Asantewaa Festival" to be celebrated on an **(annual basis),* etc --- "Kwame Mayor" insists that it is rational and logical to conclude that his objectives of the abortive "Yaa Asantewaa Demonstration" were faxed or mailed by the Ashanti Regional Police to government --- since it can be proven to all rational minds that Government controlled Radio Ghana was used to broadcast the ruling government's call for a "SHADOW GOVERNMENT" for a future Continental African Union government - (which was part of "Kwame Mayor's" objectives in the abortive "Yaa Asantewaa Demonstration")" .

" All of "Kwame Mayor's" abortive "Yaa Asantewaa Demonstration" have all been announced or implemented by the ruling government since after he had submitted! copies to the Ashanti Regional Police and announced his objectives a number of times on FOXFM Radio station, in a few Months, Ghana weaned itself from IMF and to emphasize once again, Government's controlled Radio was used to announce government's preferance for a "Shadow Government" for a Continental African Union Government.

" Furthermore, since the objectives of the abortive "Yaa Asantewaa Demonstration" were announced, the Center for Culture and its affiliate have announced an (annual) celebration of "Yaa Asantewaa Festivals ".
