My music cuts across – M.anifest

Rapper and songwriter, M.anifest, has debunked the assertion that his genre of music is only enjoyed by a “few educated people in society”.

Speaking to Atinka FM’s Candy Man Jnr on Akwaaba Talk show, the ‘No Shortcut to Heaven’ hit maker explained that music is spiritual in the sense that, people who identify with a particular style of music ‘jam’ to it.

“I don’t make music for any section or group of people. I make music for Ghanaians”, he added.

According to M.anifest, his style of music targets people who know what they want in life.

M.anifest, born Kwame Ametepee Tsikata won the “Best Rapper of the Year” award at the 2016 Ghana Music Awards. He is the son of legal luminary, Tsatsu Tsikata.
