Nana Ama McBrown In Love With Pope Skinny?

Easy going Ghanaian actress based in the Ashanti regional capital, Kumasi, Nana Ama McBrown has fallen head over heels in love with Hiplife Artiste, Pope Skinny, at an event over the weekend in Tema.

The two met on Friday April 30, 2010 during the album launch of silky voice Hi-life singer, Nana Fynn, at the pool side of Koreana Hotel Community 12, Tema. Pope Skinny known for his Akuapim rap stole Nana Ama’s heart when he took over the microphone to perform for the crowd.

Though Pope Skinny’s CD couldn’t play he decided to go free-style in a bid to entertain the gathering. He used names of celebrities to rap and the celebrated actress Nana Ama could not help but join Pope Skinny to dance on stage to the free style without beats. She sticked a GH¢20 note on Pope Skinny’s forehead before she went back to her seat.

What baffled everybody’s mind was when a lady usher removed the cedi note from the rapper’s forehead. Nana Ama McBrown quickly stood up, confronted the usher and asked her to stick the notes back on the rapper’s forehead. She then took her seat and shouted “Me Feely Wo” (meaning: I’m Feel you). A fellow actress, Emelia Brobbey, who was with Nana Ama, also screamed “Pope Skinny wo ye nice boy” (meaning: Pope Skinny you are a nice boy).

Charming Nana Ama sent for Pope Skinny after his performance to congratulate him and exchanged numbers with him. She insisted he call her later. Previously, Nana Ama has been romantically linked with actor Omar Sherrif Captan but she blatantly denied any amorous relationship with the fair-skinned actor.

She also dated rap doctor Okyeame but that was short-lived. Shortly after, this the actress got married to Nana Wiafe Akenteng, an Ashanti Chief but the couple divorced in 2008.

For now only time will tell what Nana Ama’s true feelings for Pope Skinny are and where it will eventually lead to, especially now that she is single. Keep reading for more information.
