Ibrahim Dauda, popularly known as Ibrah1 says publications aimed at denting his image affect his mother to the extent that she gets worried and is unable to sleep.

Speaking on ‘E with Becks’ Ibrah1 indicated that he is least perturbed about negative stories because he is used to the practice.

“It’s my mum who is concerned sometimes. Whenever she hears my name out there, she can’t sleep. For me, I don’t care,” he noted while rubbishing claims he is a fraudster.

“I heard this when I was in school. It’s something I’m used to. When I built my first house which cost me $170,000, I was twenty-four. That was when people started saying I was into drugs and stuff,” he said.

Offering counsel to the general public, Ibrah entreated all to remain focused instead of getting distracted by people’s perceptions.

“Just do what you want to do. Whatever you do, people will talk about you. I was trending, Fella Makafui started trending and Shatta Wale followed. It’s crazy in Ghana. Almost every week, someone trends. So if you say people will talk bad about you so you’d lock yourself up, it doesn’t make sense,” he said.

Not long ago, Ibrah was reported to have defrauded a friend to the tune of $400,000. He was said to have received a bank transfer on behalf of one Heloo and refused to give the money to the owner.

In a video that went viral, Heloo and another person were seen asking Ibrah to refund the money but the latter begged for time saying he gave the money to someone who had not been able to account for it. His plea somewhat turned into threat as warned he would expose them should they refuse to heed to his request.

He was also said to have been arrested by the police but Ibrah says it was a script from his camp which was well executed.
