Offset and his estranged wife, Cardi B
Offset and Cardi B’s divorce case has taken another turn, as the former Migos rapper requested a DNA test for the baby his ex-wife welcomed with NFL star Stefon Diggs in November 2025, TMZ reported.
A February 2026 court order that was issued in the former couple’s divorce case indicates that Offset’s request for a DNA test on the baby was declined by a judge. The court, however, approved his paternity request for one of Cardi’s children.
Though the order redacted the children’s dates of birth, one was listed as “newborn,” and that could be the baby Cardi, 33, and Diggs, 32, whom they welcomed in November last year. Cardi and Offset, 34, share two daughters and a son. The former couple welcomed their third child, daughter Blossom Belle Cephus, in September 2024.
The order additionally bars Offset and Cardi from targeting each other with disparaging or defamatory comments on social media or in interviews, TMZ reported.
As previously reported by Face2Face Africa, Cardi filed for divorce from Offset in 2024. The former couple have, however, been at odds following their separation, and they have previously traded jabs on social media. Cardi is also seeking for primary custody of their three children.
The news about Offset’s request for a DNA test came after the Bad and Boujee rapper denied a report that he posted and later deleted something he allegedly said about Cardi and Diggs’ newborn son, Face2Face Africa reported in November 2025.
Cardi had claimed that Offset was still “obsessed” with her after he allegedly implied in the social media post, which he vehemently denied posting and deleting, that he could be deemed the father of Cardi’s newborn son with Diggs, TMZ previously reported.
An image of the post in question was circulated on social media, showing an Instagram Story post that appeared to be from Offset’s account. “My kid lol,” read the post, per TMZ.
But a spokesperson for Offset said that Cardi “responded to misinformation,” and the post was not from her estranged husband.
“Any statements attributed to Offset circulating on social media are completely fabricated,” the spokesperson told the entertainment news outlet. “Cardi responded to misinformation, and the situation escalated unnecessarily. Offset has remained supportive of Cardi and genuinely wishes her nothing but the best.”
The origin of the allegedly fabricated post and how it went viral could, however, not be established.
