Auntie Naa, the host of Oyerepa Afutuo
Action Mama J, who identifies as the spiritual mother of Auntie Naa, the host of Oyerepa FM’s ‘Oyerepa Afutuo’, has claimed that the show is doing far more to help society and individuals than most politicians in the country.
In a viral video shared on the Instagram page of Marigyata, Action Mama J explained that the show aids the less privileged in society and has provided solutions to many personal problems.
She asserted that the show, which often resolves marital issues, has achieved more than politicians, who, according to her, are often deceitful and corrupt.
She ranked the ‘Oyerepa Afutuo’ show as the second most helpful institution in Ghana after God Almighty.
She said, “When it comes to Ghana, after God, it is them [the team of Oyerepa Afutuo]. They are a hundred times better and more significant than politicians in this country.
“Even the birds of the field can testify that Oyerepa Afutuo does more than politicians in this country.”
She continued, “What have politicians done for us in this country? They show no empathy towards Ghanaians and just keep increasing the price of goods.
It is only during election time that you see them trying to help. So, what exact benefit do they bring us?”
Recently, Auntie Naa and her show came under intense criticism after she hosted the wife of legendary Ghanaian gospel singer Yaw Sarpong.
A significant number of listeners and concerned individuals criticized Auntie Naa for her lack of discretion and for making the personal issues of Yaw Sarpong, who was undergoing treatment, public.
