Peter Akwaboah, Managing Director at Morgan Stanley and also a GUBA Awards USA Awards board member will this year receive a Corporate Leadership Award at the FACE List Awards gala during the 2019 Pan-African Weekend in the United States (US) from Face2Face Africa (F2FA).

Following this, his responsibilities grew to include managing settlement and payments infrastructure for Morgan Stanley a year after joining the firm.
Dentaa Amoateng MBE, the CEO of GUBA Enterprise said to TheAfricanDream.net that “we are super excited for Peter Akwaboah and his Face List Awards honor. It tells you about the quality we will be having on the maiden GUBA Awards USA board that will select recipients of awards during the US Awards to be held in New York (NY) come September 26, 2019, at The Pierre, A Taj Hotel in New York.“
GUBA is happy for Peter Akwaboah
Dentaa further said “myself and some UK-based GUBA officials are aware of Peter’s great works as we have watched him rise from his time studying in the UK to representing that country in sports a few times. He’s done a fine job with himself. I must mention that Ghana became very proud of him when he was made the Chair of Morgan Stanley’s payment risk steering committee and member of the Federal Reserve Bank’s (FRB) Payments Risk Committee after the 2nd quarter or 2016."
F2FA honors Mr. Akwaboah and other distinguished global leaders on July 20. The black-tie affair to be held at Edison Ballroom, in NY City, is also scheduled to feature a pre-reception and a full-course dinner on the backdrop of live performances before the award presentations of the night.
