The biggest music video awards in Ghana, MTN 4syte Music Video Awards, saw one of Ghana’s biggest Dancehall artistes, Shatta Wale top the night after bagging five accolades.
While Shatta Wale walked away with the Most Popular video, Best Edited Video, Best Dancehall Video, Most Influential Act and Big Chune Award, budding hip-hop sensation, Kirani Ayat won the Overall Best Video Award with his ”Guda” hit track.
Sarkodie won three awards on the night which includes the Best Hip-hop Video, Best Male Video and Achievement Award while Stonebwoy’s “Kpo Keke” hit single won the Best Collaboration.
Wendy Shay grabbed the Best Female Video award with her thrilling “Uber Driver” hit single while the Best Special Effect video award went to Medikal’s “Omo Ada” hit song.
Okyeame Kwame’s “Bra” (Best Hiplife Video), Cina Soul’s Ojorley (Best Photography) and Akwaboah’s Hye Me Bo (Best Directed Video) won some awards on a night that witnessed some electrifying performances from Shatta Wale, Sarkodie, Medikal, and a host of others.
