Dancehall star Shatta Wale and hiplife star Yaa Pono (Ponobiom) have finally smoked the peace pipe following their historic lyrical war.
Back in 2017, the two engaged in a heated beef, causing massive stir across social media.
It all started when Shatta Wale’s team denied Yaa Pono from performing on the same stage during a concert in Cape Coast.
After the incident, Yaa Pono called out Shatta Wale on social media and challenged him for a beef – and the latter accepted. But it all came to an end when Yaa Pono dropped “Gbee Nabu” – the beef winner.
The two have been at loggerheads after the beef but finally, they have smoked the peace pipe.
Shatta and Pono were spotted hanging out at D-Black’s nightclub in Accra over the weekend.
Shatta Wale used the opportunity to address the beef, saying fans shouldn’t take matters seriously when artistes are beefing. He said they behave like politicians.
“I want to send the message across. When we are beefing, my fans, don’t take it to your hearts. Because we make money out of it. We behave like politicians,” he said.
