Benjamin Asare spotted at ShattaFest 2026

Black Stars goalkeeper Benjamin Asare was among the personalities who attended the 2026 ShattaFest concert, organised by dancehall artiste Charles Nii Armah, popularly known as Shatta Wale, at the Accra Sports Stadium.

The event, which took place on October 17, 2026, saw the goalkeeper arrive at the venue accompanied by several individuals.

Upon arrival, Asare smiled as he posed for photographs, striking the signature hand-crossing pose associated with the artiste.

At one point, excited fans surrounded him, delighted to see him at the event. Many took photographs with the goalkeeper as they shared the moment with him.

The Accra Hearts of Oak shot-stopper is a known supporter of the Shatta Movement (SM) family and has shown his admiration for Shatta Wale on several occasions, particularly when celebrating victories in matches.

Meanwhile, Shatta Wale’s father, Chief One, and Criminal Investigations Department (CID) Director-General of the Ghana Police Service, Lydia Donkor, were among the dignitaries who attended the concert to support the dancehall musician.

Thousands of fans and entertainment industry players gathered at the Accra Sports Stadium to celebrate Shatta Wale’s birthday as he thrilled patrons with performances at the concert, which generated significant attention online.
