Ghpage.com has sighted a video of self-acclaimed dancehall king, Shatta Wale insulting Sarkodie for reason that Sarkodie is not supporting his agenda but talk about issues bothering the country.
It all started after his recent interview with Andy Dosty on Hitz FM where Shatta Wale revealed that he is not going to work or do anything free for his friend Sarkodie again.
Shatta Wale started attacking Sarkodie’s personality revealing that he is a very good friend of Sarkodie but he felt disrespected when the rapper failed to allow them to shoot the video for their hit single “Megye wo girl” which was a banging tune after it was released but he went to Nigeria to shoot videos with artiste he doesn’t even know very well.
He also revealed that in 2014 when he featured Sarkodie on ‘Dancehall Commando’ he was expecting ‘rich’ Sarkodie to sponsor a music video shoot for the song since he was ‘broke’ at that time but it didn’t happen.
Going on he further disclosed that Sarkodie brags about having sold out tickets but refuses to support his community like he [Shatta] does.
Well, this comments from the self-acclaimed Dancehall King angered the Sarknatives who took to social media to take a swipe at Shatta Wale for speaking ill about their boss on live radio.
Shatta who couldn’t take the heat from the fans took to Twitter and shared a post asking his friend Sarkodie to warn his fans and also blamed them for his dying career.
In the video which sees Shatta Wale ranting left, right, centre, he couldn’t fathom why Sarkodie always talks about the challenges of Ghana and how our leaders are disappointing us but do not speak publicly about the challenges musicians go through in the country.
Wale who looked fumed as always called Sarkodie ‘Kwasia’ which translate as a fool or stupid person.
