It was a memorable night for Shatta Wale, when he won eight awards at the second edition of 3Music awards at the Fantasy Dome Trade Fair in Accra.
Shatta Wale, won the Music Man of the Year Award, Reggae/Dancehall Song of the Year, Song of the Year, Digital Act of the Year, Video of the Year, Viral Song of the Year, Reggae/Dancehall Artiste of the Year, whilst the Shatta Movement won the Fan Army of the Year.
Stonebwoy's Epistles of Mama won the Album of the Year honour, whilst his hit track ''Bawasaaba'' won the Afrobeats Song of the Year.
The Female Act of the Year and the Music Woman of the Year went to Adina, whilst Wendy Shay was adjudged the Breakthrough Act of the Year.
Kuami Eugene's ''Wish Me Well'' was adjudged the best Highlife Song of the Year and also crowned the best Highlife Act.
The event which was attended by several great personalities saw thrilling performances by Ghana’s biggest acts including Shatta Wale, Wendy Shay, Medikal, Rocky Dawuni among many other upcoming artistes.
