Ghanaian highlife artist, KiDi, has advised Dancehall acts Stonebwoy and Shatta wale to stop beefing and concentrate on the future.
Speaking on Happy FM’s ‘Ayekoo After Drive show’ with DJ Advicer, Kidi said ‘’To be honest I don’t know what happened behind the scene and what informed that decision. But what has happened has happened, there is nothing that can be done about it. I think what we need to focus on is the future and make sure such occurrences do not occur again because that is what we all depend on for fun, aside football.”
‘’We can’t allow such things to be happening on one of Ghana’s biggest music night that the whole of Africa is watching. I mean the whole world is watching. It was very unfortunate and personally I was very afraid that night,” he added.
KiDi’s comments follow last weekend’s fracas between Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale at the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards.
Reports indicate that Stonebwoy drew a gun after Shatta Wale rushed onto the stage with his fans while the former received an award.
