Furthermore, the US government pointed out that Hajia4Reall's actions were part of a larger criminal conspiracy based in Ghana, targeting Americans.
They stressed that despite leniency during the trial process, her substantial involvement in defrauding elder men through romance scams was undeniable.
Several of Hajia4Reall's bank accounts were purportedly tied to a beauty supply store, allowing her to receive and launder significant sums without arousing suspicion.
