The Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy brawl at the 2019 VGMA has seen reactions from Ghanaian entertainers locally and abroad. The latest person to add his voice to the huge brouhaha is UK-based Ghanaian gospel artist, philanthropist, and author Sonnie Badu.
Sonnie Badu through his various social media handles waded into the beef between Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale and called for calm.
In a post sighted by zionfelix.net on his Instagram page, he likened the Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy feud to that of Nigeria’s Davido and Wizkid; saying if peace has been restored between them, then Stonebwoy and Shatta can also unite.
The ‘Wonder God’ hitmaker in his post suggests to the two top Reggae/Dancehall musicians to try and unite and embark on a tour which will see both of them make a lot of some cool cash.
In the post we sighted, Sonnie Badu wrote “to unite and start your tour together because both of you are record holders and record breakers. Unite the youth and lift up the flag of GHANA … you 2 are winners, you 2 Have proven to the world that you know What dancehall is, you 2 are kings ????… I also pray that Ghana football will revive again in this coming AFCON .. #UNTITYFORSTONEANDSHATTA #Badu #unityTour”
