Following the fracas between Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale at the 20th edition of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards, Sunyani-based rapper Katapila has waded into the discussion.
The ‘No Wahala’ composer holds the view that though Shatta Wale was carried away by his emotions, there is no way he would have harm Stonebwoy on the stage.
“Shatta Wale was too emotional after he was not able to win from that category. And Stonebwoy’s gestures after winning it provoked him too.
But I don’t think he would have caused any harm to Stonebwoy on the stage,” he told www.newshuntermag.com.
Katapila added: “This is not the first time that Shatta Wale has done this. If he went on the stage to congratulate Stonebwoy at the 4Styte Awards some time ago, then he wanted to repeat it again at the VGMA.”
He advised both artistes to bury their differences.
“It is time for Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale to do away with anything that won’t help the progress of the Ghanaian music industry. We need peace and unity to fly high the flag of Ghana on the International stage,” he stated.
