The never-ending saga between Ghanaian singer Becca and her family has taken a new turn as the family of Becca’s mother Juliana Oti have also released a press statement regarding the issue.

Juliana Ot’s family have called out Becca’s father for his earlier statement on the issue and described it as unfortunate and surprising.

Becca’s father released a statement earlier this week apologizing to Tobi for his ex-wife’s accusations and asked Tobi and his family as well as Ghanaians to disregard madam Oti’s claims.

He condemned madam Oti’s ‘open internet’ approach to dealing with a sensitive family issue and stated that it “is not a reflection of the character of our family.”

The Oti’s have also responded to Becca’s father’s comments.

They revealed that they are very disappointed in Becca’s father but are not too surprised as they do not expect any different from the man who impregnated Becca’s mother at the young age of 15.

The Oti family made it known that they have made attempts to end the feud and solve the issue internally but Becca’s father is unwilling to settle the matter amicably because he refuses to accept the truth.

They questioned Tobi’s innocence amidst allegations that he insulted Becca’s mother and called her a witch.

They asked that if indeed he was innocent as he claimed, why hasn’t he come out to defend himself.

Finally, the Oti family noted that their daughter Juliana has been advised by religious leaders and some prominent people in Ghana to keep mute on the matter.

Becca has also stated in a radio interview that she loves her mother very much and would never say anything bad about her.

She added during the interview that since it is a family misunderstanding, they will do well to solve their issues privately and not in public.
