Founder of DM Network and ghanafuo.com, David Mawuli has added his voice to the raging debate on who President Akufo-Addo should appoint as Deputy Minister of Tourism and Culture.
The previous week saw immense public campaign for some faithful of the NPP in the Creative Industry including Socrate Sarfo and one Kojo Antwi to occupy the vacant position.
This campaign has divided opinions on social media with individuals giving their reasons why they support one candidate or the other.
But in a Facebook post, Celebrity Blogger, David Mawuli mentioned that what the industry needs is not an individual who can sit on radio and social media and be loud.
He noted that the industry with its unending problems needs an individual who is experienced and knowledgeable in the field to help to make the industry viable.
His post read "We don't necessarily need someone who is loud on Radio and social media to take the Dept. Minister of Tourism, Culture and Creative Arts post. We need someone with the requisite knowledge and experience to make the creative sector lucrative for all artists".
David Mawuli suggested that "If Kalsoume Sinare or David Dontoh are given the nod, I believe they can deliver beyond expectations".
President Akufo-Addo has indicated that the choice of Deputy Ministers will be discussed with Ministerial Nominees after they have been approved by the Vetting Committee of Parliament.
