Ghanaian gospel singer Scott Evans has shared his belief that women tend to be more sexually disciplined and faithful than men.
Thus, he would not have any issues if his wife had a male best friend.
Speaking on Daybreak Hitz on Hitz FM, he said that while he sees a man having a female 'bestie' as questionable, he personally has no issue with his wife having a male best friend.
"From my little experience, women are more faithful and more disciplined than men.
"If the husband has a bestie, with that one, the question mark is 100%. But if the woman has a bestie, at least for me, for my wife, I don't have any problem at all," he stated.
Scott Evans also questioned the very definition of 'best friends' and suggested that there should be clear boundaries and definitions to prevent the term from being misused.
The 'AfroGospel' artiste stated that such relationships are only possible with discipline and limitations.
He also advised married couples to prevent their partners from keeping a best friend of the opposite sex if they know he/she is sexually undisciplined.
"What are 'best friends' anyway? Are you doing business or what are you doing? What defines your best friend?
"There should be restrictions and limitations to everything. Maybe there should be a proper definition for besties so that people don't abuse it.
"There should be limitations. There should be discipline on that side. If you know you have an undisciplined wife, then don't allow it," he said.
