Rapper Freda Rhymz (L) has traded words with CJ Biggerman (R) on X
Ghanaian rapper Freda Rhymz and music executive CJ Biggerman have become the topic of discussion on the social media platform X following a tweet the latter made earlier today.
The feud began when CJ Biggerman commented on a trending post on X on March 5, 2026, which read: “Tell me a story that sounds fabricated but is 100% true (Music industry edition).”
Reacting to the post, CJ Biggerman recounted an experience he once had with the rapper.
Freda Rhymz opens up on painful heartbreak
He claimed that he had high hopes for Freda Rhymz and added that after helping her gain recognition in the industry, she abandoned him.
“We wanted to create the biggest female rapper from GH. After putting all the effort into producing, directing, coaching, etc., to help her win MTN Hitmaker, she ghosted us and signed to D-Black. I still haven’t recovered from that heartbreak,” he posted.
Responding to CJ’s post, Freda Rhymz debunked the claims, stating that the music executive should not take credit for something he did not contribute to.
According to her, if CJ truly played a role in her career, he should also have supported his girlfriend, who participated in the same competition.

“Harmaboy took me through Hitmaker, and Blue funded it. Niggas taking credit for being affiliated with the people who actually did the work. These same people took you through Hitmaker too. The difference is I WON. Your girlfriend was in the competition too. Why didn’t you do it for her as well? Lol,” she posted.
Freda’s response did not sit well with the music executive, who also took to X to fire back at the rapper, describing her as an “ingrate.”
“I literally used my phone to register you for MTN Hitmaker. None of the people you mentioned had any prior experience with Hitmaker. I was the former contestant who understood the whole blueprint and alerted the guys you mentioned; we worked as a team. But an ingrate will always be an ingrate,” CJ wrote.

The constant back-and-forth between the two industry personalities has sparked massive reactions on social media, with several netizens sharing their opinions on the issue. Some individuals, including musician D-Black, who also played a role in Freda Rhymz’s career, have weighed in on the matter.
Amid the online clash, some netizens have resurfaced old tweets dating back to 2018 in which the rapper appeared to thank CJ Biggerman for his support.
“If you know CJ, you know that guy grinds to the dirt. When I had lost hope last year, he linked me up with MTN Hitmaker and sat me down to convince me that I would win. He believed in me. Look at me now,” Rhymz wrote in 2018.
