It's time for this project to be awarded to a foreign contractor rather than dubious politicians. We have heard from certain quarters that politicians win portioned tenders and sublet them at 20 to 30 percent surcharge to dishonest contractors. Because the contractors pay upfront surcharges, they are unable to complete the projects, or the projects do not get any effective supervision because the politicians and contractors are in bed together and have the same ambition to defraud the government. For many years, Kumasi-Accra Road has suffered these problems, and nobody has been called upon to account for the shoddy and uncompleted projects that are the cause of so many accidents resulting in so many casualties.

Which government in Ghana will see the need to construct inter regional roads? Rawlings, k4, a. miils, jdm all came but turned a blind eye on this road . As for Nana Ado and bawumia, the least said about them the better . A nation of gold, diamond timber, cocoa, oil and now lithium don't know how to construct better roads.
