PERFECTLY PERFECTLY SAID....................OUR MUSIC HAS NO IDENTITY. WE ARE COPYING RAP AND DANCEHALL AND SPEAKING SHIT PATOA, WHO WANTS TO KNOW, PLEASE TELL ME. NIGERIANS HAVE INFUSED AROBEAT WITH THEIR CULTURE, TRADITIONS AND DIALECT GIVING THEIR MUSIC A TRUE IDENTITY. GHANAIANS ARE IMITATING JAMAICANS WITH LESS RESULTS, HENCE OUR LOCAL CHAMPIONS. WE NEED TO GO BACK TO OUR ROOTS AND TAKE HIGHLIFE / HIPLIFE INCORPORATED WITH OUR FOLKLORE IDEAS TO THE HIGHEST LEVEL. OUR TOP LOCAL CHAMPIONS ALWAYS DOING THE KUNG-FU FIGHTING, BUT DON'T COLLABORATE TO PROMOTE OUR UP-AND-COMING STARS. DANCEHALL IS DEAD, AFROBEAT HAS A STORY FOR THE WORLD. GHANA MUSIC SHOULD CELEBRATE OUR RICH CULTURES AND TRADITIONS, NOT SOME JAMAICAN STYLE. THE WHOLE WORLD WANTS TO HEAR AUTHENTIC GHANAIAN MUSIC WITH A TRUE GHANAIAN IDENTITY. LET'S STOP COPYING

Finally someone talking sense. I have personally stopped listening to Ghanaian music because it has lost its originality. I don't know whether the present Ghanaian musicians want to be rappers, hip hop or what?. The Ghanaian music makes no sense anymore. We have had Osibisa, CK Mann, AB Crentsil, Jerry Hansen, Ampadu , Ampofo Agyei etc and all were very good. Even Kojo ANTWI, Ben Brako etc in the 90's were superb. Now what do we have? Trash.
