They withdrew the security personnel from the Saglemi project and turned round and stole doors, windows, sanitary and others fixtures worth millions of dollars.

Ghanaians should learn to hold duty bearers accountable for their wicked and foolish decisions and actions. It had everything to do with pointing out the waste of public funds on a sham national cathedral built on a foundation of lies by a vision-less President Akufo-Addo and his attempt to use a cathedral as a way of deceiving Christians to throw their votes to the NPP's delusional scheme of breaking the 8. It's because of this devious scheme that Akufo-Addo and his ex-Finagle Minister Ofori-Atta have been scheming to have the project completed before election time. The visit to the project site also has to with the lack of planning on the part of Akufo-Addo who lied about entering into a pact with God to build that sham cathedral. If not for a lack of planning, why will a President commission a project without budgeting the needed funds to undertake that project? Mahama's government may not have completed certain projects, but that's because it was actually working on those projects, and when it lost the election, those projects automatically were inherited by Akufo-Addo and his government. And we all know that Akufo-Addo allowed those projects to sit and wither away, and even selling off some of these projects to NPP thieving sycophants. So, Afia, your characterization of the reason for the NPPs' visit to the sham cathedral site is patently flawed. Akufo-Addo never entered into any pact with God, for God will never enter into a pact with a liar who cares more about his hyper-inflated ego than the needs of the many elementary school kids across Ghana still schooling under trees or in seriously unsafe classrooms. A God-fearing President would never have neglected the needs of his citizens to finagle tax payers' funds to build a sham national cathedral. And a President with pride would never run to the USA with Bishop Duncan-Williams in tow to beg for alms to build that sham national cathedral.

People who were living at the area had to be relocated and that alone caused us much. Structures were pulled down and money invested in the buildings went down the drain. It became public notice that two hundred million dollars would be spent on the National Cathedral. The project was expected to be completed and commissioned on 6th March 2024. Now the secretariat had spent over two hundred and eighty million dollars but the project is abandoned. Sister Afia should commend the Minority rather than condemning them.
